Powell’s Canine Productions is an all digital still and video photography business specializing in photographing dogs in action at performance events and candid portraiture. Photographs and Video on this site may be purchased for personal use or as stock imagery.

With over 35 years of photographic experience Powell's Canine Productions offers custom, quality
photography and related products. All aspects of the process from acquisition, digital darkroom work and final print or electronic image are done by George. The custom embroidery and quilting are done by Lynne Powell with help from Ceilidh. Great care is taken to capture and present your canine companion at that magic moment when he or she looks the very best..

A U S Air Force/Vietnam veteran with degrees in Journalism and Education, Photographer/Videographer George Powell is an award winning, internationally published photojournalist, who after 30 years of service in news, education and government is concentrating his skills on canine action photography and candid portraiture. He has trained with Trish Spradley, Gail Frazier & Karen Kollgaard. A member of the Redwood Empire Sheepdog Association, he is currently learning to herd sheep with is first Border Collie Ceilidh, and Rescue BC Gracie. His English Shepherd, Cleo is retired from agility.
